What happens when healing and art come together?
You’ve entered into my life’s story and my life's work. I’m Amber Taylor, a Long Island–based bridal makeup artist and the owner behind Amber Taylor Artistry.
My journey began with a deep, internal love story—a journey of rediscovering who I am as a woman and recognizing my own value and beauty. In 2013, I found myself at a crossroads, struggling to understand my identity and the power of my own worth. What brought me out of that place of despair was the transformative power of beauty and makeup. Through artistry, I began to express myself, reclaim my voice, and learn to see myself through a new lens.
BEAUTY BECAME MY PATH TO HEALING
Makeup artistry revealed my purpose — not only to enhance outer beauty, but to help women recognize and celebrate their inner strength. Every time I step into my role as a makeup artist, I’m reminded that this work goes far beyond the surface. It’s about empowerment, confidence, and connection.
As a Black makeup artist serving Long Island brides and women of all skin tones, I bring both technical expertise and deep understanding to every client experience. When someone sits in my chair, I see more than their features — I see a woman of purpose, strength, and grace. I see her story, and I honor it through thoughtful, intentional artistry.
My goal is always the same: to create soft, radiant, elevated makeup that allows each woman to feel seen, valued, and beautiful — inside and out.
